Sonic Pop Music was established to partner with up and coming artists, producers, and musicians as well as to share our music with the world. Our goal is to provide our artists with a fair and honest recording/distribution agreement, a competitive artist royalty rate, and the opportunity to build and maintain long term artist/record company relationships.

About the Founder

Dar launched Sonic Pop Music in 2019 as a sub-label of VOD Recordings, LLC, an American independent record label located in the greater area of Boston, MA. Using the pseudonym DA 9 Realms Dar released LPs Gilda and Polly, and also released LPs Sanctuary and Vodstrumentals as Mr. Dar. he also produced the critically acclaimed albums, Wilkesology Chapter One feat. Balistic, Point Blank feat. Spank and also was the Executive Producer of the underground hit single, "Tear it Down," produced by Jonathan Myles feat. UK rapper Redeye Feenix.

Dar dropped the Mr. Dar and DA 9 Realms pseudonyms in 2017 and is now known as Dartron 1966 and has produced several solo projects since 2019.
